By market capitalisation, TCS is the second largest Indian firm. Tata consulting services are now among the most valuable brands of IT services worldwide. It is the largest supplier of IT services worldwide. It is ranked eleventh in the Fortune India 500 list as of 2018. TCS became the first Indian IT company to reach $100 billion in market capitalisation in April 2018 and the second Indian company ever to reach $100 billion (since Reliance Industries surpassed it in 2007) after its market capitalisation on the Bombay Stock Exchange stood at 6,79,332.81 crores ($102.6 billion). In 2016-2017, Tata Sons’ parent company owned 72.05 percent of TCS; TCS produced more than 70 percent of Tata Sons’ dividends.

Capgemini

Capgemini SE is a French multinational IT company offering consultancy, technology, professional and outsourcing services. It has its head office in Paris, France. In over 50 nations, Capgemini has over 270,000 workers, of which about 120,000 are in India.

Capgemini was founded in 1967 as an enterprise management and data processing firm by Serge Kampf. As the Société pour la Gestion de l’Entreprise et le Traitement de l’Information (Sogeti), the company was founded.

Sogeti purchased Gemini Computers Systems, a US corporation headquartered in New York, in 1974. Infosys Limited, which offers business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services, is an Indian multinational firm. The headquarters of the company are in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. After Tata Consulting Services (the largest Indian IT company), Infosys is the second largest Indian IT company by 2017 revenue estimates, and the 596th largest revenue-based public company in the world.

Its market capitalisation was $46.52 billion on 29 March 2019. The company’s credit rating is A- (rated by Standard & Poor’s). Infosys provides businesses in banking, insurance, manufacturing and other sectors with software creation, maintenance and independent validation services. One of its well-known products is Finacle, a universal banking solution with different retail and corporate banking modules.

Infosys was founded with an initial capital of $250 in 1981 by seven engineers in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It was registered on 2 July 1981 as Infosys Consultants Private Limited. It moved its office to Bangalore, Karnataka, India in 1983. The company changed its name in April 1992 to Infosys Technologies Private Limited and, when it became a public limited company in June. 1992, to Infosys Technologies Limited.
