What will your job be?

Assist the team to develop the workflow methodologies on SIMULIA products for CAD modeling, Meshing, mid-surfacing, weld modeling

The Challenges ahead

Demonstrate the Model build capability of the SIMULIA product suite to current and potential customers in T&M, A&D, IE and HT industries

Gaining skills in terms of CAD modeling, meshing, and model-build in above industry domains

Your key success factors

Must possess an aggregate of 60% in 10th / 12th / Diploma/ BE/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Good understand of mechanics, optimization and finite element analysis concept

Hands on with any simulation tools like Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, Dyna

Hands on skills in CAD, Meshing, BIW, GBIW meshing & mid-surfacing, spot-weld definition

Hands on with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa

Hands on with any CAD software such as CATIA, Solidworks

Expertise in programming languages such as VB, Python etc is added advantage

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues

Job Description


PRIMARY PURPOSE: Development of new and existing products that meets or exceed expectations. Support Project Engineers and manager on all projects in development, product testing, generates models, 2-D engineering changes, technical documents etc  

What You Will Do In Your Role


1. With some guidance from Project Engineers and manager, develops new product design, updates existing products, and manage product extension (sustaining engineering).

 2. Provides technical support to internal & external customers globally. 

3. Coordinates product activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality using the engineering change notifications (ECN) procedures. 

4. Responsible to provide good clear communication and to be proactive in all day-to-day activities. 

5. Performs design verification activities to ensure that designs meet the specification requirements. 

6. Checks tooling manufacturing drawings and other documentation for completeness and accuracy.

 7. Responsible for maintaining our electronic project management and time sheet database files. 

8. Understand, support, and contribute to the Molex Market Based Management (MBM) philosophy, Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

 9. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.  

 SCOPE: Position to develop / support new and existing products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Supports Project Engineers and manager on all projects in development to generate revenue and growth for Business Unit. Project Engineers to review designs and help as needed.  



REQUIRED: Engineering Technology Design Certificate or equivalent. 

PREFERRED: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology  



Design experience of electro mechanical products with basic understanding of dimensioning, tolerancing, and material selection. CAD understanding in a technical field, engineering, or manufacturing environment. 

PREFERRED: 2+ years of design experience using a parametric CAD system.  



• Experience in Microsoft Office products. 

• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems with sound solutions.

 • Good verbal and written skills for exchange of information in a clear and concise manner.

 • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment. 


 • Knowledge of NX CAD Software & ECTR document management software.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.

As a part of Vestas Power Solutions, Loads & Controls – Value engineering is responsible for assessing the loads and power performance of Turbine at various stages in the product life cycle. Provide the solution for turbine improvements on non-standard product requests, Service solutions


Master degree in Electrical OR electro-mechanical, instrumentation & controls engineering with controls system background

0-2 years of Working experience in Simulation/Modelling tools as MATLAB SIMULINK

Solid Competence on Mathematical modelling of Electro-Mechanical, Hydraulic Systems

Knowledge on Control Design and Control Tuning using Model Based Control approach

Exposure to state of art control algorithms/technologies in academics, projects works is an added advantage


Good at Control Theory

Programming knowledge in C++, SQL, Python

Control System Modelling, Controller Design, Controller Tuning & Controller Verification

Good knowledge in Power generation concepts

Knowledge in Aero Dynamics

Knowledge on Data engineering, machine learning, mechanical engineering will be an added advantage
